Huddle Notes:

Theme: "Quality is never an accident" - William A. Foster

Dave's Update

 - July's is looking slightly better with a weekly run rate of $267K per week from $215k in May and June.

 - We have a heavy dependency on the heavy truck and automotive supply chain which gets funneled through Mexico who is having a hard time with COVID-19 right now.

- Thank you for wearing masks and social distancing.  It seems Chautauqua county is having a spike in cases so we need to continue to stay safe.

July's Forecast

- We are continuing out sorting efforts for the 606035's and the 606215's this week.  If you have time to sort please see Jason or Ashley.

- We are starting to sort the 12365-01's so if you are down a machine or have time, please see Ashley or Jason about this sort.

- Just a reminder, Huddle notes and scoreboard numbers are updated weekly across from Quality next to the vending machines.

- NOP:  -$11,641

Satety

- Watch for lifting hazards.  The max tote weight is 25lbs.

- If you know of a process that involves lifting to high or twisting while lifting, and your concerned about hurting yourself, please let Andy or a member of the management team know so we can work on improving our processes.

API Champion / API All-Star

- API Champion is the same as the Thumbs up program to recognize those who have helped you out in some way.

- API All-Star is similar to a champion but there is a cost savings involved.  The people with the highest cost savings at the end of the quarter be drawn to will win a large prize.

- Our goal is to capitalize on process improvements that drive cost savings.

Closing

- You can never check too many parts.

- Continue social distancing and wearing masks at work.  Please practice these same techniques to minimize the risk of exposure wherever you are.

PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK!
